About 10th Planet Oak Hill

At 10th Planet Oak Hill, we train differently. We spend a lot of time in our lab working through the ideas and principles of submission grappling. We picked our instructors for their abilities to transfer high level concepts into easily understandable movements and widely applicable strategies.

When we first looked at the space that would become 10th Planet Oak Hill, we saw “Mad Science” on the door remaining from a previous tenant. Instead of removing it, we recognized right away that there is no better phrase to sum up what we want our school to be.

We are here to create a rigorous curriculum, a proving ground of ideas, and a fun, inviting space where we work together to improve our techniques, enjoy the art of grappling, and better ourselves.

Our school is full of mad scientists, from our coaches, to our middle-aged hobbyists, to our champion competitors.

We have everything we need to begin understanding and mastering both the art and science of submission grappling.
